I shared what I was doing - coordinating moving parts, leading people, managing timelines - and I framed it through the lens of project management. LinkedIn became the place where I told that story.

If you’re trying to break into project management, one of the most powerful tools you can use is LinkedIn - specifically, posting on LinkedIn.   • Speak to your target audience. Imagine you’re writing for a hiring manager or someone in your desired industry. What would they care about?

  • Pick 1–2 themes. Start simple: project communication, lessons learned, cross-functional teamwork, etc.

  • Use voice-to-text with AI. Open your preferred AI tool (like ChatGPT), hit the microphone icon, and talk through a work experience or lesson. Then tell the AI:

    “Frame this as a LinkedIn post that positions me as a project management thought leader.”


This is my favorite shortcut for turning ideas into polished, professional posts. It keeps your tone authentic and your workflow efficient.


Make It Sustainable: One Weekend, a Week of Content


Here’s how to make this part of your job search routine - without burning out:


  • Set aside an hour or two over the weekend. Use this time to brainstorm 3–5 post ideas, record your voice, and create your drafts.

  • Schedule them in advance. Use a LinkedIn scheduling tool (or just your calendar) to plan your posting days.

  • Stick to once or twice a week. That’s plenty. The goal is consistency, not daily output.

  • Engage with others. Every post is a chance to connect - so reply to comments and start building relationships.


You’re not just “posting.” You’re building a professional presence that speaks for you.
